and meanwhile…

Weeks have passed and the film is still in post. The HD output weighs some 800 Gigabits, and as amazing as high definition is, the process is still quite experimental and taking much longer than we thought. Since picture lock, I'm spending Saturdays and Sundays more or less wall to wall in bed, and I'm catching up with the Oscar contenders. During the week, Grant and I are wrapping the production, organizing releases and the accounting, and we have started to work on press materials, teasers, and the new website. I'm still too exhausted to snap back into a balanced (and social) life. I'm glued to the computer and sort through texts, pictures, artworks, and since I got the Firewire drives back from Switch, the footage.
