Belen just announced another Spanish 1000 Journals screening, this time in Navarra. The details:
University of Navarra, Tuesday, 02/02/2010, 6:00 PM, at the Aula Ciencias Sociales FCOM. The English language announcement is here.
The screening will be followed by a creative session with the theme journals "The Cinema You Dream About," started by the film school Ciudad de la Luz. All this is part of the competition "Expresarte," to promote arts and creativity, lead by Prof. Jorge Latorre. The screening is co-organized by Prof. Monica Codina. One student posted this in the Pink Line Delegation blog. And the beautiful artwork above is the cover of Journal Nº4, by Javi Múñoz, an illustrator from Navarra. The first pages have been filled, and you can see them on Belen's blog, here.
Update, Friday February 12th: Belen wrote today, "I'm back from Pamplona, it was beautiful! Here are a few pictures from the event. A professor from the Politecnico in Milan was there and he took one of our Cinema You Dream About journals to Italy. (He is in the picture of the audience, seated in the middle.) There weren't too many people at the screening, but regardless, the people who were there were into it, and the project got great news in the press, and on the radio and internet."
Arriving on Belen's blog is a continuous stream of journal pages, pretty amazing.
